This plumbing fix is not such a smooth move... INSPECTION PHOTO of the day!

In this area, this type of drain pipe is not per code as it will not drain well.  Things get caught in the ridges and it blocks up. This was creative... but in the end it just backed up the waste water.

Oh man - I don't even want to think about what the inside of those ridges look like. Got a bacteria farm without compare I'm sure...

The wildest trap I saw was a 5 foot vacuum cleaner hose. The owner noted it was just temporary, but he said that was done "temporarily" about 5 years before. LOL

Yuck.  I don't want to think about what's in there either.  A listing that I sold recently was beautifully redone and I was shocked when I found the same type of connections under the sink.  It made me wonder what else they might have done on the 'funny' side....
